SYNERGY Day
I have a passion for teachers, students, the Odysse of growing up, walking in someone else's shoes and being united by common threads that may seem invisble. SYNERGY Day allows for high school and middle school students and staff to come together for a day with the goal of creating new life lines among each other. Through various small group and large group facilitations lead by Peer Leaders, we are able to unify as a school, celebrate our differences but truly come together by our similiarities.
SYNERGY Day trainings are 8 weeks long. If you are interested in being a peer leader or bringing SYNERGY Day to your school please contact me!
Bun Von Scholarship
In 2014 I traveled to Cambodia and got to live there for a bit. A gracious man, by the name Bun Von offered me free accomidation at his modest two room apartment, filled with sixteen beds. Seeing that Cambodia is one of the poorest countires in the world today, this was a favor that was more than genuine, just like the Khmer people. One morning Bun and I grabbed breakfast at my favorite place in Siem Reap, The Little Cafe. As I sipped on my iced cappicino I asked him about his story. I am a firm believer that the most enchanting thing you will ever hear in the world is someone's story.
As he opened up, he told me about how he dropped out of university after two years, in order to work several jobs so that his little sister and brother had the opportunity to get a higher education, the key to getting out of extreme poor conditions. Seeing the golden heart that Bun wears on his sleeve and listening to him say that his dream is to go back to school to finish his degree, the only thing I could think to do was to start this scholarship for him.

Coffeerations with Cori
The only thing I love more than people and coffee is having coffee with people. I remember saying to my Grandma one day and saying, "I never want to the President of the United States. I want to be the stepping stone, the helping hand to someone who does want to be the Preident of the United States."
